How long do job postings stay up on Craigslist?
I applied for a job that was first posted on May 22nd, and the posting is still up. I don't know if they've hired somebody else or if they're still looking.

If they have to repost week by week, then that's saying something else regarding my chances. So does anyone know?

1. No clue
Second question: has anyone here ever landed a job from a Craigslist posting?

This is a reputable company, BTW. :D

6. Oh, I have no doubt about that
I was just wondering about who has gotten a job from Craigslist, since that is one of the resources I plan on using to search for a part time job once I get to SoCal (part time because my daughter will be starting Kindergarten and I want to be able to drop her off and pick her up and be home when she is.)

2. Oh, by the way
when are you moving east?

We are still unsure when the big move west will be.

3. Leaving L.A. at the end of the month.
Staying in Texas with my parents for a bit, then heading to NYC in mid-August or early September.

7. I'm sure I'll drop by L.A. when I sell a script.
:D

But I will likely get to meet CaliforniaPeggy before I leave. :bounce:

10. I just did a bunch furniture for sale posts Monday evening ...
and the postings said they would be up for seven days. They may have the same policy for all postings.

Why don't you make a post on there? You have to give an email address when you post and when you are done, it'll email you a link for final confirmation or cancel. Give it a whirl and see what happens.

11. They charge for job ads, though.
I actually did post a "for sale" ad recently, which is free and posted for seven days, but I'm wondering how long a job posting is left up there.
