18. Good morning Peggy!

I hope the air quality clears by the time I reach the Sacramento Valley. I find that I'm truly addicted to my new camera. I've burned back up disc for all of my shots so I don't feel bad about taking 30 pictures of the same sunset or 10 of one bird in flight. I hope to get up the coast into Oregon if I feel like more driving.

I'll be getting Da Shadow back tonight so I have the rest of the week to get it cleaned out and ready to start packing next week: a dozen bags of coffee beans, gallons of Poland Springs Water, Nana's vegan cookies, Hudson Valley Dessert Company's Granola and anything else that I can think of to keep me smiling while I travel. I may even check the used book store to pick up a few new books on tape.

I still haven't picked a route for my trip. The truck has a built in compass I could just head west and see where the road takes me. I guess it'll become clear as I go.

I'm happy to have so much to keep my mind busy.
