Presidents Clinton and Gore will join Sen. Dick Durbin as eulogists at the funeral service for Sen. Paul Simon at the SIU-Carbondale Arena Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. . The public is invited.

We can fight over who should be able to speak first and who did a better job. Then people can bitch and maon if Gore doesn't sit close enough to Clinton and whether or not Tipper and Hillary really meant it when they hugged each other.

Paul would not have approved of our recent 'spin battle' over endorsements. He would have found it both tacky AND silly.

First and foremost, Paul was a DEMOCRAT, and would NOT have approved of all this 'my way or the highway' nonsense.
