spent on DU, that is. The rest of it completely rocked: I got up on time, cleared a pile of overdue work out of my files, got all of my errands run, found an AWESOME deal on a homeopathic remedy I used to pay approximately ten times more for, found some special air freshener I needed, (also on sale, because the money gods loved me today) caught up on my shopping, had a quick chat with one of my best friends, and am currently listening to my little sister in the next room trying to....back out of her engagement!!! Hooray!!! As some of you know, she was actually considering marrying a total dipshit this summer. The one who only agreed to continue their relationship last year if she would agree to have at least one child for him. The one who still smokes pot FOUR. TIMES. A DAY. HE'LL BE 34 THIS AUGUST. (My sister is 23, by the by.) He's also possessive, immature, suspicious, controlling, passhole aggresshole and stupid. And I think my sister, young and impressionable though she may be, has finally fucking figured this out! Which means I don't have to make up a lame excuse not to attend their cursed nuptials next month! (Knocking on wood now.) So great.

I'm not a scientist, but smoking anything four times a day does not seem conducive to passing on healthy genetics.

She's about to start a Ph.D. program at a top ranked university, so it was kinda worrying me that she didn't seem to recognize that it's not acceptable for your would-be permanent partner to say he wouldn't want to stay involved with you if you weren't interested in squirting out a little copy of him, your other fine qualities as a human being be damned. But then, so very few people seem to understand that concept these days, as your lovely pro-eugenics there demonstrates, so maybe I should have cut my sis a break. Oh well, she's ditching that ugly, lazy, damaged misogynist, and more power to her, I say.

that someone other than Hillary is getting some attention these days about 2008. Not bashing her as I do MSM.

fun, not a whole of character development but that was just fine by me, lots of action and some suspense and some pretty good special effects. After the movies we went to Traders Joe's, love that place.
