Why are there all kinds of fireworks being shot off this evening?

2. Depends on where you are, I suppose

I'm thinking back in the midwest, the summer festivals have started, and perhaps in your town there was one this weekend. Many of them end with fireworks. Of course, I don't know where you are, but I'm sure that all over the midwest such festivals as "ButterFest" and "Milk Days" and "Strawberry Harvest" and "Onion fest" have occurred.

8. It was my sister's HS graduation party.

Eventually, my stepdad just started setting them off. We only have one neighbor though. Other than that, it's just woods around.

No firecracker stands in NJ. We have to go to PA for them.

I've been told that more fireworks have been made legal here, so that might have something to do with it.
