Murderous Gloomy Day. I'm skipping class

and instead am going to mope around the house. I've tried exercise, positive thinking and upbeat music but I feel like CRAP!

1. Why not just go to class?

Since nothing around your home has cheered you up, why not just try going to class? You never know, there may be something there to turn your mood around.

2. Because my wretched soon-to-be-ex husband

took off for a few days and there will be nobody here with the kids.

That's my excuse anyway.

We're trying to sell the house so we can go our separate ways. It isn't moving and this has caused a lot of tension. Improving the garden won't hurt and it might even help!

3. I think you've got it backwards

You're supposed to skip class on the nice days. If there's nothing better to do, class might be entertaining. I mean, unless it's accounting or something.

My day sucks ass...wish I could skip work, but then I don't get to eat.

I'm taking classes in the hope of finding work. If my effort fails, I'm in deep schmidt.

My side of town has had 10 inches of rainfall thus far, with more in the forecast.

You have my sympathy regarding your weather. We had rain for weeks but finally spring/summer has sprung. And yes, the yardwork has me feeling much better. All the roses are just starting to come out and there are hundreds and hundreds of them. It is truly marvellous.

I'm sorry your day isn't so good.....

I've felt better too, than I do today.....

And I went outside, and repotted some houseplants that desperately needed it!

While I was out there, the morning overcast lifted, and the sun came out!

All that activity did help me a lot.....
