4. Don't Be Jealous. It Was A Great Idea From Her That Worked Out.
I love when I hear these types of impulse stories where someone just said "heck with it, let me give it a shot" and it ended up working out beautifully. I say good for her!

28. why don't you write that book?
and then try to market it?

Or just write a couple chapters and send it to some publishers.

How much are your payments and how did you accumulate 40,000 in debt?

5. That's what our government is supposed to be doing.
Since the government is letting the education system deteriorate, individuals came forward and helped subsidize this person's education. Voluntary socialism occurred as opposed to state socialism.

My only guess is it's a combination of sympathy and the realization that she could go on to do things that could benefit us all. I guess it could be called an investment in one's future, and that's what government social spending really is, but the government is more interested in building bombs and missiles instead of books and pencils.

... I could pay off my mortgage.
I've already repaid my student loans, although mine were on better terms than yours.

Go ahead and try what she did, but don't whine about it here.

14. If
9600 people sent me $1 each, I could take a year off from work and clean out my garage.

OTH, if they wanted to send me $3, I wouldn't have to work again until my 75th birthday! (Maybe longer if I sold what's in the garage. :) How cool would that be?

Hey, if I'm gonna fantasize, I'm gonna have fun.

I could get an apartment until this house sells and me and my estranged husband wouldn't have to keep bumping into one another. It's MISERABLE because he hates me & I'm not too fond of him. Sigh. A buck? Anyone? :)

Edited because I'm illiterate tonight.

some broccolli, I'd be happy healthy.

I worked through both undergraduate degrees.

No loans, no interest, six years of mac-and-cheese (AKA "yellow death").

does a body good (only when consumed with copious amounts of ethanol).

Edit to add my dissapointment in lack of "pictures" on the debtor's website (I 'might' subscribe....)
