Now there's a candle that lets you experience the scent of Jesus, and they've been selling out by the case.

....Light up the candle called "His Essence" and its makers say you'll experience the fragrance of Christ.

Bob Tosterud and wife Karen say the formula is all spelled out in Psalm 45. ..."It's a Messianic Psalm referring to when Christ returns and his garments will have the scent of myrrh, aloe and cassia," says Karen Tosterud.

....
"You can't see him and you can't touch him," says Bob Tosterud. "This is a situation where you may be able to sense him by smelling.....
The candles sell for about $18.

1. I think Jesus would be pissed that people are making money off his smell
Non-Christian Christians....or would that be psuedo-Christians?

What's next? Christ Clothes that have His Essence so you, too, can be more Christ-like?

Am so sick of the fucking fundamentalist money making schemes.

3. He probably smelled like dirt, fish and garlic
He walked around in a sandy area wearing sandals. People in the middle east eat a lot of fish and garlic.

that he lived in a hot climate with little water, and no tradition of regular bathing. Hmm, I've just typed a bunch of crap that I have no idea whether it's true or not. Go figure.
