:puke: :puke:

I tried one. It tasted like shredded paper with BBQ sauce for flavoring.I went to Wendy's.

1. My best friend served them at her wedding reception.
Cartilage with sickly sweet sauce on it.

She was on a very tight budget. I wish she would have just moved the wedding to the afternoon and gone with cake and punch, but she wanted a "dinner". People were generally appalled. What a waste of money.

10. Yeah...her new in-laws worked at McD's, so she got the riblet discount.
If you think the riblets were bad, you should have seen the marriage.

Train wreck.

She's glad to be rid of the guy now.

4. I know someone who had Pizza Hut pizzas delivered for her
wedding reception.

I was totally appalled. Again have a mid afternoon affair with cake if you are not going to properly feed the group.

12. I have to agree with you. M.G.P.....maximum gift potential.
Why waste all that money on Pizza Hut pizzas or cartilidge pieces from McDonalds? Nobody wants to eat that shit. Just do a nice cake and punch thing.

It always strikes me as a gift-grab. Invite as many people as you possibly can and don't feed them. Just hope they bring a gift!

I was even sent an invitation once where we were invited to come to the wedding but NOT the reception.

8. I had a soft spot for those things when I was a kid.
I'm not big on them now -- the BBQ is too sweet and the whole thing too chemical.

I kind of like the vegan version they serve at a bar (no kidding) out here.

13. I worked on the first McRiblet commercial
way back in the early '80s. Or, something like it.

McDs had a fake store in the City of Industry, east of downtown LA, that was used only for shooting commecials. All the plants were on wheels, there was a lighting grid built into the ceiling, and the building had two fronts. All the counters were on wheels, too.

We spent several days shooting only closeups. It looked gross to me.

14. Gardenburger makes a vegan version that's not bad
You can buy 'em at Trader Joe's and the big chains too. Throw 'em on a hot dog roll and you're set.
