Man, all those deceased Nigerian heads of state have a lot of relatives! |

Can't we do something for those people? I mean, what the heck is going on in Nigeria!?! They must have some new President, a whole new cabinet and a new Crown Prince every month. I didn't even know there was a monarchy in Nigeria until the daughters, nieces and widows of all the deceased crown princes started contacting me. There must be one heck of a rebel movement going on over there to result in all these dead oil ministers, vice-presidents and bank executives.
Look, I don't want to take advantage of these poor souls and reply to their messages. I couldn't possibly handle the transaction of 21 million dollars into my account. I'm just a college student studying in the arts and humanities and such a business venture would be out of my league. Besides, I don't think there's room in my parents' garage for an Aston Martin. I wish I could give them some referrals, but I just don't know anyone who I think could help them.
I feel genuinely bad for these people. Imagine, living high on the hog from your husband's/uncle's/father's wealth only to have him killed in whatever violence is going on over there and then having to turn to someone like little 'ol me to help get your money into the US. I think the UN should get some kind of refugee plan going for all these poor women who want nothing more than a safe place for their millions of dollars. I'm sure lots of countries would be willing to let them and their money in. But, as long as their plight is ignored by those who would turn the blind eye to rich Nigerian widows, it will be left to you and me to help these unfortunates get back on their feet.
Call your Congressman now and get them working on this crucial subject today. By helping the helpless Nigerian millionaires we'll all make the world a better place. Thank you.

1. This is a truly pressing concern. |

An I think you are brave for doing the right thing and speaking out. I feel intense and frequent pangs of guilt for not doing something myself...

2. I want to hit them over the head...every time I see one of those emails. |

They put a crappy face on Africa. I've responded with diatribes.. at least once.. and they just keep on with asking for the money.
Does anyone know if the emails actually are sent from anywhere in Africa?
