Am I the only one who thinks it's REALLY vulgar for Burger King |
|
not only to HAVE a sandwich they call "Spicy Huckin' Chicken," but THEN to advertise it to kids on the Cartoon Network?
Tacky, tacky, tacky. Low-class all the way.

I thought it was funny, but others went "Ahhhh!", it just depends on how you look at it.

after seeing them. But I don't eat there. Yuck.

4. The first time I saw that commercial, I was like--Huh? |
|
What did they..? Did they just?
It's just too close to "The Word That Children Must Not Say. But Know Anyway." I imagine many prepubuscent giggles.

7. That's what they're shooting for, much to parents' irritation. |
|
Call me old-fashioned, but I don't use that kind of language around kids, nor in business conversations.
Here? That's different; kinda like being at the bar.

I highly doubt their core customer base is what one would call "classy".
You gotta remember that this is the same restaraunt that sells a deep-friend chicken sandwich with bacon , ranch dressing, and three different kinds of cheese.

My agency has Wal-Mart and McDonald's, among others. Our creatives high-five over the awards they win. That's what drives them. The product is a necessary evil. But, we'll be gone when the oil runs out.

15. The hell does "huckin'" mean? |
|
Oh. Oh dear. I just said it allowed 5 times. Yeah, that's tasteless. Especially since there's no such word as "hucking". I looked for it in my Funk and Wagnalls.

|
I haven't seen it, but I don't get why that's vulgar. I mean, beyond the fact that I'm a vegetarian and don't think much of eating animals. But that doesn't seem to be what's upsetting everyone.
