Husband is going to London on business. What do you think he
should buy me there since I can't go? I have a birthday coming up. I'm thinking less than $100.00.

7. Okay. I am lost on this. I take it I should google this?
What am I getting myself into with this? Is it really cool or just something obscene? I don't want obscene, just cool.

10. Well, in the tube, they make announcements telling you to mind the gap.
The British version of saying, "Dumbass, don't fall between the platform and the train onto the tracks." However, it's on all sorts of souveniers over there, such as this t-shirt.

My one friend brought back a "mind the gap" thong for one of her coworkers, so I thought it was funny and threw it out there. It's not really obscene, unless you consider thongs obscene, or a thong that says "mind the gap."

2. A Mason-Pierson Hairbrush.
Make it the full-size, with boar AND plastic bristles.

It will last you for 100 years, and you will LOVE it!

4. Wow! Great idea, I think. I'll have to read up on this.
I have a pageboy right now, and may never let my hair go long - long again. But a really good hairbrush sounds neat.

9. Leather boots, with leather uppers
though they may cost more than $100. My mother bought me some in London and they were fantastic (soft yet sturdy)!

11. yeah they'd probably cost around $500
the dollar has collapsed to nothing against the pound, and in any case, i think it would be a terrible idea to buy someone boots who can't try them in case (99 times out of a 100 since it will be the husband shopping) that he gets the wrong size
