4. Sixteen.
Bouhlarouz should've gotten a red for his hit on Ronaldo at the beginning, IMO (and Figo should've been sent off for that head-butt, too)...but you can't put all the blame on the ref; I'd say most of his calls were justified. You'd think the players would've figured out that they needed to rein in their tempers after the referee made it clear that he wouldn't hesitate to book them (and they didn't).

3. oh, and here's an explanation about the name
His name - the longest in Dutch football - derives from his great-grandmother being the last of the Hesselink family, so when she married his great-grandfather, a Vennegoor, it was decided that their descendants would bear the dual surname. The marriage brought about the merger of two farms in the Enschede region. 'Of' in Dutch means 'or' in English.
