Do all car ads have to be totally obnoxious?
Two in particular rankle me, and they're aired *constantly*

-the Ford ad with that American Idol creep. I hate jerks who point, and I want to break his big stupid hand everytime I see him in that ad pointing and acting like he's having a fucking seizure.

-the ad that shows a soul-sucking corporate suit on a freeway overpass extolling the virtues of a Kia with a mic to passing traffic below. When a bit of humanity interferes in the form of a guy with a "Marry Me" sign yelling his girlfriend's name next to him, Mr. Soul-Sucking-Sapping-Draining corporate drone tells him "Hey, I'm working!" like selling a Kia is more important in our culture than something petty and proletarian like being in love. This ad is sick.

Okay, I'm done. Feel better.
