Who are some great bands that never quite made the bigtime?

I love musical esoterica. I adopt the strays that nobody else wants.

Find me some good youtube, ya'll.

I got a bunch of 'em I'm gonna put up.

1. Mothers Finest.

I used to go these guys in the late Seventies (I was just out of high school). They played the local clubs in the Southeast. And they killed. One of the best bands I've ever seen in a club or anywhere else for that matter. They are STILL together and still putting out CDs. It's a crime they never made the big time.

This is all I could find of them on youtube.

A decent Boston-based band that never did well out of the Boston area.

I'll burn your ears with more caustic invective if you start spoutin' all that positivity up in here again.
