I need help (an immigrant issue..but not GD)

My friend's employee came to her in tears today, so of course my friend asked me to research it for her.

Here's the deal>

The woman is Turkish..with a green card (married to a US serviceman)
He wants a divorce (she does too, but he brought it up first)
They have a 2 yr old
SHE has a 12 yr old and a 17 yr old TURKISH born (not his, and he did not adopt them)

She doesn't want to leave the US, and he forbids her to take the 2 yr old if she did leave
She's afraid to start asking questions because of the immigrant bashing that's going on and she's afaird they will deport her and the two older kids..

Any suggestions for where she could go to ask questions? Los Angeles would be about the furthest she could travel for a face-to-face (he hardly lets her out of the house)
