I love the DU Lounge

I rarely ever go to GD anymore. There it is mean, harsh and savage. The lounge is like a kitten or a spring afternoon--pleasant and warm. The GD board is like a winter ice storm---unforgiving and equally unpleasant.

6. I actually went out for the evening

and just got home a little while ago after the bars closed. I am a bit drunk, but in a real good mood. We have a big time difference, since I believe you are in the UK, and I am in Annapolis, Maryland. It is 2:22 AM here.

I post at work all the time too. It helps me get through the suffocating boredom of a day at the office.

5. I won't spend much time there till after the primaries

DUers are losing body parts in there.

7. I spent all day in a field hospital

after being nearly crippled by heavy artillery from both the right and left of me. I was caught in the crossfire and I nearly died.

8. No kidding. I went in for one post and got a nosebleed.

Now I remember why I do not stray into that minefield anymore.

Although today is the first day I had to use the hidden thread feature because we were getting so many GD casualties over here not wanting to post their political threads over there. And then, there were all the threads about "him".

I must have 15 - 20 threads hidden now so I could filter through the crap today.
