A Philosophy Question
Would you take “life and death” orders from a bearded guy hiding in a hole?

1. The beard part wouldn't bother me.
But the hiding in a hole -- yes. Since two Iraqi cop shops have been bombed since Hussein's capture, I would say that the orders are being handed down from elsewhere -- and presumably by multiple parties.

4. Well it would be what he believed and I believed.
Hell we went to war behind a man who could not get into the greatest army at the time and had the feeling he could beat the most powerful country on earth. People who believe will follow a lot of people.A believe if stong enough will beat big guns.

5. They probably didn't get orders from Saddam
I am sure the Baathist Paramilitaries were set up long before the war even started. In fact, many attacks indicate weapons and military training, so I believe many are from the SRG, the old Mukhabarat and foreign fighters who were imported to fight there. Supposedly, many of the Guerillas are not even native Iraqis. But civilians do not know how to use mortars, or set up landmines (and disguise them), or make their own explosive devices. Many of these fighters most likely served in combat before.
The Islamists are probably just winging it. They are more likely responsible for attacks in areas away from Baghdad, in the south.

What's the sense of having $750,000 in your pocket if you look like a shmoe?
