Have you ever HUGGED your pet?
I just did.

He did what I asked him to do -- more accurately, he didn't do what I asked him not to do -- and I gave him a hug. Or the closest thing to a hug that you can give a doggie.

Hell, he's my buddy and I'll hug him and I don't care what they say. ;)

4. Frequently
Two of my cats are in the 20+ pound range, which make them easy to hug. The smaller ones get hugged, too ... but when it's a little cooler!

5. I used to do it
When my doggy was still alive. She was a small, cute, lovable pekingese and not the brightest bulb but she was the best doggy ever. I used to hug and kiss her a lot. Still miss the poor thing...

6. I hug Dommie and Sunday Girl.
Yogi acts uncomfortable with a hug, so I let him love on me instead like he likes it.

7. Well, now ...
why would I have a pet if I DIDN'T hug it? I hug all four of them all the time ... but not a the SAME time. Satchmo kitty will even put his front paws around my neck. :loveya:

Psssst ... I think more people are doing it than maybe will admit. ;)

8. Our cat, Tate, is the snugglebug of the the three
He likes to be picked up and held close to you on his back, while you scratch his head and body. We call it "The Love Scoop."

10. He's a Golden Retriever. How can you NOT hug him.
Of course, if you're wearing dark colors with no lint brush, I might think twice.

13. All seven of them (soon to be eight).
Not only do I hug them, but the 3 dogs hug BACK.

They wrap their front legs and paws around whatever part of you they can, and lick you to death.

Don't ALL people with companion dogs hug them? If not, why not?

I wish I could give hugs to Evita but she doesn't like to be held or picked-up, but I did scratch her ears for about 5 minutes

20. I not only hug my dog, but I kiss her too.
So does my fiance. We are so bad we sometimes kiss the dog before we kiss each other! :D I hug and kiss my cats too but sometimes they get really pissed off at me. They are more into head scratches on demand.

24. Well YEAH!!!

Every single day. Two of the kitties and the dog are affection junkies, they would love nothing better than to hug and kiss and cuddle and nuzzle and scratch and pet and knead all. day. long.

The other two kitties come around every so often to get an affection fix. Then they're off to parts unknown until they need a fix again. Which is usually a day or two.

:hi:

26. I kiss and hug my kitties them constantly. Plus we do "nose rubbies"
and head butts and "squinties" and other kitty-love conveying communication techniques. And every day I have MBC, which stands for Morning Bunny Cuddle where I make sure I show the bun some affection.

Yes, I am insane. :D
