I might go to the pet shop; see what they have that isn't too messy and adoreable and is more fun than something that makes noise and demands food.

The kids got drunk and let my bunnies out of the cage last night. Also puked out the window and onto my patio cover. I need to go pet shopping in the back yard and catch me some fast rabbits. Wanna help? You can have one. :) I ought to offer you the 20 something brats instead.

Have you thought of trying clicker-training your bird? Even a more hands-off bird can learn to do tricks for clicks! It's a way to interact with a bird who isn't a snuggler.

You must not be THAT bored and lonely. I dumped Clorox water on the patio cover and I've done wonders with the hose. I'll never catch the bunnies with my bad back, though.
