I'm selling my house, probably moving a day or so before Christmas, and I'm stressed to the hilt. Along with the hug, could I get a free word of encouragement? Thank you so much!!!

Not sure it would help, but certainly couldn't hurt.
But, that'll be me.... the one hugging the tree, cause there aren't humans around.
Kanary, down and just about out

7. Boy, I sure need a hug. |
|
I just had to cancel my counselling appointment this afternoon. Because of being short handed at work. I felt cruddy doing it...because I like my counselor and I feel guilty about not keeping my appointment.
So, I feel geniunely shitty today.
And a hug would be very welcome.

11. Call me weird...but I actually dislike hugs |
|
I have never been a "huggy" person. They feel awkward and strange to me. I also hate it when people I hardly know touch me. I'm way too highly sensitive physically: things that other people barely feel are way more intense to me and not always in a good way. :-(

I can't kill anything, except, perhaps, roaches. I cannot bear to see or know of any creature suffering (means I stick my head in the sand a lot to avoid reality). But anyway, we have mice, always have problems in the winter and our cats aren't much help when the mice travel inside the walls. Now, I don't mind if the little buggers are inside in the basement, or generally downstairs & in the garage, but I have to draw the line when they scamper through the kitchen drawers and leave turds in the silverware. But I still feel AWFUL, we just caught one on that sticky-tape stuff (the "no-kill" traps were simply chewed up, the mice ate their way out of them in the few hours between setting them out and finding them full of tooth marks) and what do you do? There's a mouse, huge brown eyes frantic, stuck to the damn tape. Ain't no way we could crush it or anything so gruesome, so we sealed the bugger in a ziplock back to suffocate him hopefully quickly and put him out in the snow to hasten death, it took about 5 minutes but now he's just asleep or comatose on his way ... I cannot allow shit in the silverware, but I still feel terrible.
