Will your cat lay on your bare skin?
If I am laying down wearing a shirt, my cat hops right onto me and sprawls out over my chest. But if I am only wearing shorts, he will carefully position himself so that he's only on my shorts and not touching my skin. Does your cat do this, and if so, why?

1. Yeah. There's been numerous times when I wish she wouldn't.
Such as getting accidentally clawed or when I've been engaging in bedroom activities and the cat wants to suddenly jump in between because she's not getting enough attention or something.

2. My cats would if I let them.
Waffles is the only one I trust, though. He knows how to keep his claws sheathed when he's walking all over me. :D

3. No, they won't.
Probably because of the blood-curdling screams from me when their claws dug into my skin. They know to wait for the towel or blanket.

4. yes, my kitty
does make sure not to jump on my bare legs. She's very considerate like that - always has been. She will jump up on my desk and carefully climb onto my lap making sure not to scratch me.

the other one... bubby... love him, but he's a bit of a bull in a china shop. He's learning, but, he will jump on my bare legs, bite and scratch me (very gently in a playful way) to make me wake up at 3:00 in the morning b/c he wants to play...

why? I really think kitty knows that jumping on my bare legs will scratch me and she's careful. She also doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night, but on the weekends when I sleep in, she will bat my face every now and then - she's just smart and caught on quickly.

bubby - whey does he jump on my bare legs and wake me up at all hours ... he's an attention whore and only 1 yr old - he is getting better about it.

5. Not unless it wants an express trip across the room. (Not my cat;
it's my son's.)

It can hang out with me, but that level of familiarity would be too much.

warm like i was wearing a fur coat.

you're obviously not a cat person.

mine, well i only have 1 left eats off my dish and spoon. i think their mouths are cleaner than humans.

most people get grossed out when i tell them that.

on edit: he insists on laying on my pillow with me. he stays for about 5 minutes purring, then goes off to another spot on the bed to sleep.

7. one of my cats (who is now is cat heaven) was a kitten when i
found her in the street. i was in my underpants one day sitting on the floor looking for something in a drawer when she came over and sucked one of my nipples.

when i told my mom she said "did anything come out". i said "mom do you think i would start lactating for a cat?" lol
