Tonight is my last night in my house
As I let the Lounge know a few weeks ago, my house sold. It closes on the 31st. Unfortunately my mom is having surgery tomorrow. (I don't remember exactly what kind, right now.) Anyway, because of that we will have to leave our house tomorrow and go live with my grandparents from several weeks before we heed to NC (When he mom is healthy enough). I have a lot of memories here- We've had the house 13 years (I had just turned two when we moved here). I will miss it here, and I'll try to post whenever I get a chance to get on my grandparents' computer.

1. I know how you feel, NJ Democrats.
I'd give anything to live in the house in which I grew up. :(

2. thanks for sharing...
I am lucky that my brother was able to hold on to the family house, (just down the block from me). Holidays and all, are still there. I count my blessings. We didn't know for a while if he could swing it, and I was getting really nervous. To pass it everyday, taking my kids to school, going to the store, etc... if another family lived there, it would be extrememly tough.

I feel for you. You sound so young, and I hope you will make another place your home for many long healthy years to come. Much to look forward to, and work hard for. The payoff is amazing.

Best to you, and keep your chin up... sometimes things are a blessing in disguise. You never know.

Keep us posted please. New places take adjustment, and if you stay open to us here, you will have an abundance of support for all the changes you will experience.

3. I hope you enjoy your last night there
Good luck on your move. I hope your mom is healthy enough to move soon.

I dread the day I move from this house. I watched my child grow up in this house & it will indeed be sad to leave it behind.

5. The doctors say she'll be good to go
in 4 weeks or so. I might have to move w/o her, while she recovers.

7. I know
Except school starts in 4 weeks, so we might have to go w/o her. Plus, our plan originally was to go down several weeks earlier so we could meet people before school.
