Upstate NY cat lovers.... |
|
My cat is in desperate need of a new home. Long story, but I cannot have him in my home, and he is living on a horse farm right now. The owners of the farm are selling and have asked me to come get him.
He is 15 and so very sweet. I don't have a picture available right now. He is an orange tabby.
He prefers not to be with other cats, but can adjust if necessary.
Please...if anyone can help me out...

Have you posted this in the pets forum?
... also maybe in the New York/Vermont/NewHamphire/Maine etc. forums?

7. Oh thank you so much for the information. |

I am desperate to keep him from being put down. I think he has a couple of good, healthy years left in him. Peace

And I so wish I lived by you. He'd be living here in an instant. We have an older black/tabby mix who pretty much keeps to himself, except for coming up for some loving. I hope you find someone. :( I sure wish I lived in NY or you lived in MI.

14. well, at this point, I am willing to send him on a plane to |
|
someone if they really were interested.
The problem is that my asthma got really bad last summer and I knew I was allergic to him, but I never was willing to get rid of him up until that point. I placed him at a horse farm where Mini Malta Blue takes lessons, so I could visit him every week. Now they are selling the farm and moving out of state, so I have to get him a new home. I can't bear the thought of having to put him down, although that is what some people have been suggesting due to his age...

It's a bit rambunctious - two large dogs and three cats plus chickens. Contact me via e-mail if your interested.

Has your cat been "tutored"? All the beasts who live in the house have, but there is a big old feral cat that hangs out in the barn sometimes.

Oh, I would be forever in your debt. I am willing to cover any vet bills, etc. I have had him since he was 4 weeks old and I fed him with an eyedropper...
