Good Thursday Morning, Crew!
Edited on Thu Jul-27-06 05:09 AM by Random_Australian

Sorry to dissappoint for a half-arsed thread but I feel not good.

Talk amongst yourselves, then!

Sorry again. Urrrrrrrgh.

Time to rise and shine, crew!

Song of the day is "I am feeling sick and sleepy and I am eating and going to bed" by R_A.

The real song of the day is "Take Five".

Edit: Actually, I will pop in but it won't be quick today.

8. Good morning MissAirmens
just got back to my desk. Was in another interview. There are more this afternoon. I just can't attend those as my boss isn't here today and my co-worker has a hlaf-time position and just left. So someone else from the workers association is sitting in the next two interviews.

How are you doing today?

 :loveya: :pals:

Edited on Thu Jul-27-06 06:24 AM by Random_Australian
Very plain dinner is great for when you are sick. I feel quite a bit better.

Though I am a touch shamed to admit it, most of the bad feeling was simply from not getting work done today.... I feel like I let myself down, but it is that close to bed that I will not get anything done productive now.

Mmmmlnnghharrumph I do not like it when I let myself down. The feeling is pretty intense.

Edit: I replied to the wrong one! OOPS! *ngslfgsfg*

Yes, I welcome the soft embrace of sweetest sleep, the silent and the warm, the ward of the mind and body, to walk free in a land without fear, for within the sleeping mind, harm never comes.

I am getting so tired that I am getting poetic. Oh dear. Bed soon, I think.

Edited on Thu Jul-27-06 06:26 AM by MissHoneychurch
even though rrr couldn't pick up. it is a good sign, also that she talked on the voicemail instead of just hanging up again.

Well, it isn't really work to sit in a hot room and listen to someone who tries to get a position with us. Not much asked from me except sweating

Now I am back in the library, sitting on my desk, turning on the webradio as soon as I figured out what I want to listen to. And jsut work in peace as no customer is in at the moment.

Edit: Just got a customer, but he is the former director of the house and he jsut sits quietly in the reading room and doesn't need much attention.

For though you and I have never met, the knowledge that in the world happiness exists is always a light in the darkness; may it never dwindle. Someday though, it will be candle no longer, but the burning beacon to illuminate the path of humanity; that one day so many of us will be happy.

to becoming sort of mellow. Next I get poetic! But I'm kinda sleepy so I might go to bed, as it is warm and nice and cosy and the new blamket feel like moonlight and sweet silver clouds spun into cosy cloth, fending so gently the frost; and oh shit I am entering the poetic bit! Woot yay I am gonna sound like an idiot because I am damn tired.

Between the vaccum cleaner and the palm trees so tall, so magnificent yet so gentle as they sweep the skies in the cool breeze, reaching, always reaching for the skies like the people who live with them, but such a column that does not hate itself as the humans do, though the dear price it pays is to never love itself; a price it's sighing makes sound all to dear.

59. Oh, that's something.
We were the bad kids in our families, too.

First, I messed up the family pattern of boy, girl, boy, girl ... then I came along.

Then, harleydad was supposed to have a son and continue with the family naming convention that's been used since the A family married the C family. Goofed that up, too, by having a girl. If harleykid has a boy one of these days, she may or may not continue it. But it wouldn't really work anyway since she changed her name when she got married.

Yes, we are all problem children.

You're funny. I remember thinking 40 was old when I was your age. But, yes, you have mentioned that you don't consider me or your mom old.

60. Don't trust anybody over 30

It's been a while since I considered 40 or 50 old. The only strange feeling I get is when I think that my dad would have turned 60 this year. Nothing I can imagine. 60 is an age - I don't know - that I consider not really old but it is more of a break - if you want to say though - than 50. Maybe because till some years ago that was the age you retired (Now it is 65 and when I am that age at least 67 ... maybe I even have to work till I am 70. Who knows.) My boss is 65 and retires end of this year. I don't consider her old either. Maybe it has something to do with your wit and how you keep yourself. Does that make sense?

My brother and I are the only ones of our generation who don't have kids or are married. My three cousins have 6 children (+ plus one in the oven)

61. You will notice
that as you get older, "old" becomes a much bigger number. 60 doesn't look terribly old to me now. 70 is pushing it. It has everything to do with both of those things -- that's what aging gracefully is about, not botox. Yeah, it makes sense.

Well, harleykid doesn't have a kid yet and she's just a little younger than you. We're waiting ...

I really should get going. Harleydad was going to make me some cappuccino and I have to go bug him about it. I NEED to wake up! See you in a while. :loveya:  :hi:

52. Time to get going to bed, crew! I am getting poetic!
I woke up enough to type this not to start gabbling, but look above and you will see some *rather* unusual things from me. Sorry!

Well then, have a nice morning and take care of each other!

63. Hey there Will.
:hi:

It sounds as though Clint is a dash better, but still very snowed under for the moment. He is very keen to get back to us all as quickly as he can.

Hope you're having a good day.
