Just got back from 2 weeks in Turkey |

It was absoloutly great. Spent most of our time with my former exchange student and her family. Now I really know the meaning of hospitality. About 1 week in Istanbul and another week traveling around Anatolia looking at old greek and roman ruins. Turkey is a wonderful place to visit. Lots of great historical stuff to see. They are not anti-american, even though they despize Bush. The food is great, the turks are very nice, its not too expensive, and the Turks brew a very good beer. Best vacation I ever had. They don't really like arabs very much, but jews are ok. They tend not to be very strict moslems since alcohol is served just about everywhere.
