Angry Driver Pins Stranger To Building With Truck

BRADENTON, Fla. -- Police said a Bradenton driver was so upset when a stranger leaned against his car that he ran into the stranger's legs.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office was looking for the angry driver, who could face a felony charge of aggravated battery with a motor vehicle.

The victim, Jose Garcia, suffered multiple leg fractures from Saturday night's incident.

A sheriff's report said Garcia leaned on the driver's truck and didn't move when the driver yelled at him. The driver revved his engine and backed up a bit, but Garcia still refused to move.

Then, the report said, the driver pulled forward several feet before backing up rapidly. The car jumped a curb and pinned the victim's legs against a building.

there was a gopher/pickup/foreman type who came into the counter all the time. He limped. He got drunk and got into an argument in a bar and ended up with his leg snapped between two bar stools but didn't have insurance so he worked his way through it without getting it set.

when drunk. not against a wall, but against another car. and thankfully, her legs weren't broken, only badly bruised. and thankfully, I no longer drink.
