Anybody watching HEX on BBCAmerica? |
|
I let myself get sucked into this thing. But it's turning out to be really interesting. http://www.bbcamerica.com/genre/drama_mysteries/hex/hex.jsp (work warning: sound you can't turn off)

1. The first series wasn't bad |
|
I stopped watching during series 2 though, lost my interest unfortunately.
It's kind of odd though, the series was shown in the UK on Sky One, Rupert Murdoch's entertainment channel in the UK, so I'm kind of surprised to see the BBC showing it in the US instead of Fox. Then again I've just looked at the other shows that are available on BBC America & there are a few that were made by other, rival companies.

2. I just read a discussion board |

over at BBCA and apparently they aren't even showing all the episodes, so it seems too telescoped here. Or maybe the story is just underdeveloped. But it is intriguining.
I think Azazeal is underused. He's got too much presence to just reserve for the 10-15 minutes he's on.
But, I'm a big Gothic fan, so that's what attracted me.

I love the scenery and the gothic theme. I was sucked into one weekened when they showed about 3 episodes in a row. Her ghost friend is so cool.

He's a devil, alright!
It does distress me, however, to know that he's about 15 years younger than me! x(

8. That episode a couple of weeks ago was a shocker |
|
I did not expect the main character to die like that.
I agree about Azazrael.
the whole thing has similarities (in a good way) to Anne Rice's "The Witching Hour", which is my favorite book (the sequels suck, however).
I didn't start watching at the very beginning, so I'm hoping for a marathon at some point in the future.
