I went out today and spent a chunk of money, but didn't buy a butane lighter. On purpose.
I still have a throw away butane lighter, and it has a ton of fluid in it.
There's a problem though. The valve doesn't work right, so I had to take the cover off of it, and to light a cigarette (yes, I'm an evil smoker) I have to take a pair of scissors and lift a portion of the lighter that lets the butane out. Then, I can strike it with another lighter that I saved that has some flint left (this one won't strike either) and light my cigarette.
I spent over a hundred gazillion dollars today at the store, but didn't want to spend 99 cents on a friggin lighter.
Are you a cheap SOB or do you spend nickels like there's no tomorrow?

1. That's not only cheap, but crazy. |
|
What about smoking when you're out? You'll need broken lighter w/fluid, scissors, working lighter w/fluid.

4. I had one, but I lost it |
|
I know where I lost it, but someone else took it before I could get back to retrieve it. It was my greatest treasure.
It was a gift.
Do you have any idea what zippos cost these days!!!!!!

5. If you're near a smoke shop that has discontinued models... |
|
about $10. Also, if you smoke Camels, around me, they're selling promo ones where you buy two back and get a free zippo-type lighter. I have one of these and it works great. Hell, I even put it through the wash and dryer by accident and it's still fine.
