Robert Jordan is now writing prequels to an unfinished series?
So not only is the unending series not getting any closer to being finished, he's actually starting to go backwards in time?

Wow...he must have hit the speed of light typing or something.

1. I actually plowed through to book 8 before hitting the wall in the
"Wheel of Time" series. The first couple were OK, but then whole books would go by with nothing happening to advance the story. :boring:

3. After I picked up George R Martin's "Game of Thrones"
I never looked back. Now that's how you do a modern multi-book fantasy series!

6. ...
Somewhere in there I picked up a copy of "A Game of Thrones" and lost my drive to plow through RJ's stuff.

Truthfully, the farther I get away from it, the more inexperienced I think he is as a writer.
