Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young at Nissan Pavilion |
|
I hope it's okay to post this in the lounge. I was wondering if anyone is going to the CSN & Y concert, Saturday night, in Bristow, Va? It's at the Nissan Pavilion, not far from DC. I live in Maryland and it's about an hour and a half away. My husband and I were going to go but I'm pissed at him and am thinking about going by myself. I don't know...
So, anyway, is anybody going to be there?

1. Post also in the D.C. Virginia and Maryland forums in the state |
|
forums area, too. You might get responses there, too.

I took your advice and posted it in MD and VA. I wasn't sure if it was okay to post it in multiple forums but then I figured no one would care.

4. You can't post both in GD and GD politics or GD and LBN or LBN and GDP |
|
I believe. Other than that, you are usually fine.

Saw them a couple of weekends ago here in CA. Best damn concert in years!!!!!!!!! Lasted almost 4 hours.
It was the most awesome and stirring concert on years. There were times wehn I had tears in my eyes. And the call to rise again to bring peace was astounding!
Dammit! You better go to the CSNY concert! :loveya:

We've had tickets since the day they went on sale-just lawn seats, but I love sitting on the lawn at concerts like this. The crowd is usually...um..."mellower" than the Pavilion crowd. I've seen CSN a few times and Neil Young once but I've never seen them together. I'm just so pissed at my husband that I don't want to be in the same car with him. I honestly might go alone but I'm not really familiar with this venue.
What to do, what to do...

I already told him I wasn't going with him but the thought did cross my mind to just ride with him and then go off on my own once I get there. I really hate "angry silences" though, even if I'm the one that's angry. It just eats at my gut and then I end up trying to make peace even though I'm not the one who was a total fucking asshole in this situation. I only get this angry about once every two years and then I usually just take off for a couple of days. That's kind of one reason I was checking to see if any other DUers were going-I thought I might just go stay in the area and than maybe meet up with them.
I don't know...I'm confused. (plus I just ate a few crackers full of hummus before realizing that it was moldy. bad damn night.)
