Poll question: If you could become immortal |
|
And eternally young, by becoming a vampire, even if that would mean you have to kill people and drink their blood to survive, WOULD YOU DO IT? If so, how would you organize your life? I would drink the blood of baddies, people who are powerful scum and are worst than vampires anyway. So, WOULD YOU DO IT?

3. Who the hell would want to be immortal on THIS planet? |
|
No, thanks. When my time comes, I go willingly and happily, thank you.
I feel I've already seen and experienced enough of this place already. :scared:
Plus, I don't even kill insects... and I'm gonna live by killing people??? I don't think so.

4. Would the act of killing prey be a necessity? |
|
What is it about the blood that would keep one alive? Is it just the hemoglobin? Would synthetic blood suffice? How about animal blood? I'd be hard pressed to pass up an opportunity to be immortal and watch history unfold, but I would not become a killer in order to do so, for what would my life be worth if it required the sacrifice of so many others?

10. I'd rather be reincarnated. More variety, less stuck in a rut. |
|
Edited on Sat Aug-12-06 12:37 PM by fiziwig
Face it, as we get older we get more and more bound by our habits as the rut of our life gets deeper and deeper. Do you really want to carry the emotional baggage of thousands of years along with you every day? Do you really want to become more set in your ways, and hardened in your attitudes? Wouldn't it be better to just get a fresh start in a new body every 100 years or so? And wouldn't it be better to be able to leave behind the old emotional baggage and the old cynical attitudes, or bitterness, or whatever your particular form of maladjustment is?
Nope. I like things just they way they are now with reincarnation. It's is a much more workable technique of immortality.

Every new life is a new opportunity to expand knowledge and strive towards bettering yourself thorugh a variety of life experiences.
I think it would be extremely boring to be the same person for eternity. Besides that i don't like the sight of blood. ;)
GREAT poll question, though. Thanks!

31. You BET I would! Plenty of bad actors in the world today to "feed my need" |
|
...and I'd be doing mankind a GREAT service going after them all. :bounce:
I'd start with the Bilderberg annual get-togethers, then wipe out the Bohemian Grove 2000 members, then other "secret society" clubs before turning my attention to the WH, then work my way through Capitol Hill into both chambers of Congress, starting with the House.
When done there, I'd go after oil conglomerates' CEOs, and other mega corporations' executives all the while strongly urging those I choose to let live to give back to America all the wealth they'd stolen, and take care of the weakest among us.
Then I'd go GLOBAL! LOTS of "feeding" there to do!
Having eternity to do it in, I'd be a busy body nonetheless, but I'd be one of the happiest vampires this side of hell!

37. Vampires can still die. |
|
It's not easy, but possible. So if you wanted to commit suicide, you could.
Unless you are a vegetarian/vegan, you already eat things that are more innocent than humans, and probably promote their torture as well by buying from corporate farms.
Not to encourage cannibalism or anything. It's not particularly healthy.

I'd rather figure out another way to get hold of something close to immortality/eternal youth. Even if you fed on the worst of the worst until the end of humanity, I'd imagine it would get rather wearing.
Also, you've been watching way too much Blade the Series...that or reading too many bad vampire novels.
