Except for this: They have these truly stenchiferous scented candles, and sometimes the oppressive miasma of vanilla and cinnamon and Himalayan dingleberries or whatever the hell, makes me want to sneeze and puke simultaneously, which definitely casts a pall on my shopping experience, so I leave.

5. I love Pier One...
The desk on which my computer sits is from there, as are my "good" dinner plates. For serving dishes, I have mismatched collectibles. For dessert plates, I use festive paper. :)

7. I'm more of a Big Lots girl...they've got funky stuff too...at better
prices. My dad recently got bitten by the garage sale bug and it is hysterical listening to him talk about the "stuff" he buys.

9. Pier One
Is a hippie commie seditious retailer. Michelle Malkin told me so. I will never buy there (except for some really cute coasters, and place mats, and candles, and cushion covers, and curtains, and tea sets) Never!

Pier One can go to hell!
