"KAPPA son unas criaturas místicas japonesas tradicionales que tienen platos llenados de agua en sus cabezas. Mueren cuando el plato se seca. Son como pescado, y también como pepinos (que, a propósito, es porqué hay sushi-alga envueltos en pepino conocidos como la KAPPA MAKI) Les gusta engañar a los seres humanos. Se dice la KAPPA habita en el lago Ishuh."

Kappa are tradicional mystical Japanese Creatures that have plates (dishes?) of water in their heads. They die when the plates (dishes) dry. They are like fish, and also like cucumbers (??? :wtf: ) (that is to propose, it is because there are sushi-(algae???) wrapped in cucumber called Kappa Maki) They like to decieve humans. The Kappa are said to inhabit Lake Ishuh.

44. Mine was boring.
The first image was a newspaper review of a tv show.

But somewhat more interesting, there was a hippie peace festival on that date too. 3rd Google picture was from a Texas newspaper.

Part of the story is as follows:
Wind 'Blows Mind'
For Rock Devotees
By W. EUGENE W. SMITH
Avalanche Journal Staff
The police have been kind and the natives distant so far, but Old Mother Nature welcomed 1970's first "rock music festival" in a good old fashioned unkind West Texas way today - with blowing dirt.
The vanguard of expected tens of thousands of young music devotees huddled around campfires and in cars on the Floyd Reynolds property southeast of Woodrow.
Their faces grimy from the dust, stringy hair of male and female alike whipped by the wind, the youngsters, most of them from West Texas so far, awaited the Thursday morning opening of the three-day event.
The curious were far more plentiful than the involved, as Farm to Market Road 41, running adjacent to the festival site's north side, was crowded with slowly moving cars.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) patrolmen were observed issuing two traffic citations, both to very ordinary looking West Texans.
"We opened up our tent last night ," ventured one long-haired youth, "and it just inflated and blew away."

64. Holy crap! Huey P. Newton of the Black Panthers!
Crazy. My birthday, 9/26/68, is the day he went to jail, and this photo is of him on that day.

From a PBS POV documentary: http://www.pbs.org/pov/pov2004/apantherinafrica/special_photo_02.html

"For those of you who aren't fully aware, Huey Newton started the Black Panther Party. This picture was taken after his conviction.

Ruth-Marion Baruch called Charles Garry and asked if she could photograph Huey Newton. He said, "Yeah, but you better come right now. You better come today, because he is being convicted and he's going to be whisked out!"

Look at the face. This is a picture of somebody who is on his way to prison identified as a revolutionary leader. People might not be able to appreciate this if you didn't grow up in that time, but to hear the news over and over and over again during the rebellions: "Young black man killed. They suspected he had a weapon." Whoever the policeman was that shot this young black man — and there were hundreds of them — was always either acquitted (if there were any charges), or it was justifiable homicide. Nothing ever happened to the police. It was always the news. It was always a young black man. I mean twelve years old. Seventeen years old. Fifteen years old.

I was in Atlanta when the news came across the airwaves: "Policeman killed. Black man accused of killing policeman." Now, this black man wasn't just any black man. This black man was the minister of defense of the Black Panther Party. So, many people heard about Huey Newton the first time in connection with an accusation of killing a policeman at a time in which no policemen were ever charged with anything for killing black people. You might say he came into the legal system with a big burden. He was very calm. He was a law student, very articulate. But anybody with that kind of reputation and that kind of history, you go into the prison system, they'll do something to you. They have something for you."

Edit: And upon further research, it seems I have the same birthday as Bill Clinton! (Not the same year, of course.) Also Jill St. John, Fred Dalton Thompson, Jonathan Frakes, Adam Arkin, Peter Galagher, John Stamos, Lee Ann Womack, Clay Walker, Matthew Perry, and a whole bunch of other celebs I've never heard of. Thanks, celebrity-link.com!
