1. Oh fuck. Not Hitchens... |
|
Christ, he was on there before and seemed to be visibly drunk, certainly bothered when anyone questioned his undying support for Iraq, and he's just fucking boorish.

I don't get HBO.
See? As if that's not proof of my deprivation, then I don't know what is?

4. Do you have cable or satellite? Give them a call and ask if they have |
|
any special deals on HBO. I try that every so often, they usually give you HBO for a few months free or a very low rate. Last time I got HBO for 2 bucks a month for 6 months.

5. Yeah, but the biggest reason I don't have it is because |
|
the few times I've tried, or when there's a free preview, the kids practically come to blows over it.
*sigh*

I do think his show was kind of in a slump last season, but I love it and will be watching!

And as predicted the Boor Hitchens was visibly combative and clearly tired of explaining his untenable position to people who just simply "don't get it." Bush is a great man, Democrats are idiots, and we can apparently go fuck ourselves. I don't believe that Hitchens will ever be invited back. It looked like Maher was going to jump across the table at him. To say nothing of the crowd which he openly antagonized. I didn't see Hitch at the end of the show. It is possible that he was advised to make a hasty exit. Judging the reaction he got from the audience when he flipped them off, I think that was wise.
