I try to be a laid back guy but why the fuck do people walk two and three abreast when on narrow multi-use exercise trails? Socializing is a wonderful thing but there's a time and place for it. If you want to talk to your buddies sit on a bench somewhere. Don't make a big moving barrier for people trying to get by. Why should it be my responsibility to slow down and wait for you to get out of the way? And put up with your shocked look that someone is using the trail at a faster speed than you are. One of these days I'm just gonna say damn the torpedoes and not slow down.
Thanks, I feel better now.

1. I have that same complaint with groups that block |

2. If the trail is only two people wide then ~ Keep-on keeping on. |

It's rude for people who are strolling along to interfere with the rhythm of your workout.
just sayin'

when solo walkers are in their way either. Multi-use means sharing and there's bad behavior all the way around.
on edit: I'm us usually on a bicycle on multi-use trails. Slowing down regularly comes with the territory.

They're easy enough to dodge. I just wish all trail-users knew the phrase "On your left." It's cyclist shorthand for: "I'm about to pass you on your left, please don't step into my path."

5. I like the guy with 2 german shepards |

who wears headphones turned up so loud he can't hear me yelling at him. Usually he walks in the middle with the dogs fanned out on either side of him.

6. These are the same people who have long conversations |

in elevator doorways. I suppose every generation says this, but it really seems like basic courtesy and the awareness that other people live here too are in serious decline...
Still, sometimes it's easy to get annoyed too quickly - sometimes I catch myself as a walker getting annoyed at a biker behaving the exact same way that I do on a bike, and vice versa...

7. The yellow line down the middle. |
|
I'm irked by the waddlers who walk/jog along the yellow divider stripe as if it was a moron line. They know they're on a bike trail, so why can't they stay to the right. They seem oblivious to sharing the road.
