No. That being said, I thought for a looong time that I was "allergic" to men crying, until I realized that it really depended on who it was and why they were crying...For me it's situational. But sexy, no, not really.

Regardless of the gender or orientation of the person who weeps, I want to give comfort to those I encounter...not have sex with them.

7. NO, when he's crying over a parking ticket, YES when he's crying about |
|
telling the story of losing his oldest daughter in a car accident.
No when it's in a sad movie, although he can get choked up.
Yes when you're delivering your babies in the labor and delivery room.
See how it works?
We want you to be the man, please.

I would be concerned!
I don't consider it 'unmasculine' to see a man cry. I think it's a healthy thing to do if one needs to, for both sexes.

Sure as heck it is!
I find it most appealing that a man could cry.......
He is showing his vulnerable side to me.......
And that is something that a confident sexy man can do.......
People who are fearful aren't sexy at all, IMHO.........
And that goes for either sex, or any sexual orientation....

it can be sad or touching (or cruel and manipulative) but sexy? no, man up, and stop w. the crying already
too often it just means he should have been cut off at the bar an hour ago

23. Why should he have to "man up"? |
|
I don't find crying sexy for people of any gender, but why should a crying man have to "man up" and stop? Why should only women be allowed to cry without being told to "man up?"
Society should be beyond that.

24. The only time my man of 18 years has cried was about 6 years ago.... |
|
My mom (who we ADORED)had just died (she was 65). When we were finally ready to grieve, Michael and I both cried for a long time and held just each other. It wasn't sexy, but it wasn't entirely non-sexual either.
I don't find it "sexy" if Michael cries. It scares me. The idea of him being in pain hurts me.

As GoG says, it's probably not exactly the best time for sex...but also I'm not that keen on any such displays of emotion.

I well up a lot at movies. Last time I cried I did it in the bathtub. And it was less then 2 weeks ago. I hate doing it in front of people. At my own mothers funeral I didn't cry (in front of anyone). But later it was ON!

bathroom and cried the night he found out about the death of his Granpa. Both times, I left them alone cos I could tell they wanted their privacy. I remember feeling very tender toward them and wanting to comfort them but, knew (instinctively) that it would embarrass and humiliate them. I felt the best way to comfort them was to pray for them. So that is what I did...
what a weird question...some things just don't cross over very well, do they?

OMG- Not only did we not go yesterday, we had to come back because our flight was 2 hrs late and we would have missed the connection. So I was neck-deep in apricot brandy yesterday for NO GOOD reason at all. So it's the same thing all over again today.
         Thank you so much for the good wishes, Richardo.

But it is nice to see a man who isn't all caught up in the "real men don't cry" meme. Though I wouldn't want to be around a man who cries all the time any more than I'd want to be around a woman who cries all the time. Save it for the right situation.

Generally though, I agree with GoG up thread that the last thing on my mind when he is crying is having sex with him.
