6. Gazing Ball. We live in New England, after all. And here, it's either that
or a raised garden bed in a tractor tire painted white.

8. We had a gazing ball.
A black bear gazed into it and decided to attack it.

21. We called them magical mystery balls, and viewed them as cult
paraphenalia-- those who had them were like the Masons... ;)

7. Seems like the MidWest thing is Concrete Animals.
Are we the ONLY place where old ladies put concrete animals out on the front porch or in the front yard and then DRESS them in clothing "appropriate" to the holiday????

I SWEAR, I am gonna hurl if I see another dammed goose with a Witch's Hat on it.

You stand half an old bathtub on end in your front yard, paint the inside blue, stick a statue of your favorite religious figure in it, and surround it with geraniums.

11. My gnomes are very happy here, and several more have since sought
refuge with us, fleeing the growing republicanism in the USA.

Gnomes are Socialists you see.

13. I have a flock of penguines......11 to be exact.
I had 13 but someone stole 2 of them. I put them out 2 or 3 birds at a time, and by Christmas they're all out with bright red bows around their necks. 3 years ago, just a couple days before Christmas I counted them and 2 were missing. Have since given up hope they will be returned, and 11 just isn't the same flock.

19. Of course - depending on where the lawn actually is
you could opt for the classic, yet always in style, look of a late model car sans tires on concrete blocks.

22. Best Lawn Ornament EVER - Dog pooping on front lawn
I'm not kidding, I see this thing everyday when I come home from work and I swear I'm going to take a picture of it.

The owners have 2 lawn ornaments (one on each side) of something that looks like a Terrier squating to take a poop and painted on the lawn ornament is the words in big letter "NO"

And if you look at the dog on the lawn - it comes complete with a turd hanging from it's butt. NOT KIDDING!
