how extensive is your online life?

DU is pretty much the only forum i frequent anymore.

i sign myself up for well-intenioned and non-malicious spam so i can get email.

what about you?

4. I used to be active on a couple of other boards , but this

one is a lot more fun. The other boards had nasty flame wars, and people could be really rude to each other. I didn't want to be around that crap any more, so I stopped posting.

Just about everything I have to do for work is via internet or email, so my work life is heavily internet-based.

5. I'm only online for an hour or two a day.

And most of that time is spent here on the DU.

6. I also used to post at some other boards

but the nastiness got to be too much for me. It was too much to ask for a little civility and much less melodrama. I still lurk a bit, and will post once in a great while when something catches my attention.

So, I mainly post here at DU. While I've been very busy IRL lately, I still spend far too much time on the internets.

I frequent quite a few message boards of varying interests.

I hardly ever get emails :-(

Getting all excited when you see that you have new mail in your inbox only to find that BustedTees has a new sale going on.

10. I get about 30 spam emails in Korean everyday

and some in other languages.

There are a slew of mortgage brokers who think my name is Mashanda, that I live in Newark, and that I really need their mortgage badly. Wrong name, gender, and geography. I get a few of these every day.


plus, some randomly generated spam that is completely incoherant.

11. The only spam I get is...

spam to increase my bust size.

And I'm a male. x( Why would I want to increase my bust size?

I read a few sites. But that's it. I used to be very, very adicted to the online world but that passed.
