I've got really bad Karma this week |
|
Edited on Tue Dec-23-03 10:04 AM by bamademo
Yesterday, I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft at work and Facilities had to fish them out with a coat hanger. Today I sit down at my desk and felt something weird. Turns out I had split my pants right up the back (I'm not fat, I'm thin) and of course I'm not wearing panties. I had to get a sweater from a co-worker and wrap it around my waist. I guess it's a bad week for Capricorns. :-)

1. Ooops...I seem to have dropped my pencil. |

Maybe this means you'll have a good remainder of your week.

I may learn lessons slowly, but really now! Can't I get a break?
Also a Capricorn....

4. Hope not. I'm a Capricorn, too. So far the week is not going badly. |
|
But I have a few more days for things to get screwed up.

14. WELCOME to the world of HMOs where the insurer's profits rule! |

It took 3 doc visits to make them do an MRI. And 10 days later the HMO/Blue Cross STILL hasn't approved physical therapy, bless their hearts. But you should see my new brace! It's MASSIVE, and I refer to it as having my knee retrofitted. So much for being cute, fashionable and sexy.
***sigh***
AND DAMMIT my dog LOVES me! She won't leave me alone in a room anymore. She stays at my side 24/7, worried as she is about me.
Turns out, the neighbors said their dog Woody tried to get help for me when I fell down and was screaming/yelling for help, hoping a neighbor would hear me. Woody started barking and scratching on his back door to get their attention and went en pointe towards my house. Bless their hearts, the 12 year old girl there really didn't know quite what to do at the time, when she heard me. I can't blame her, being so young and not particularly bright (but as sweet as can be. I told her next time to check on me!
But my Blue has remained utterly devoted to me ever since, always at my feet and in any room I'm in. You HAVE to love dogs....

Ewwww! "Of course I'm not wearing panties" -- good lord, where's your sense of cleanliness.
I mean, even with panties on you'd need something to cover up the split, but no panties. Yuck.

A lot of people don't wear underwear under tight jeans. I hate VPL's.
