I had an alien probe chip removed from the back of my neck
and all I have to show for it is this big bandage. I thought that just a dream about being abducted by aliens. :scared:

Actually, I had an appt with a dermatologist to have a cyst removed. The whole procedure took about 10 mins and I have this big bandage on for a few more hours. There's about a half-inch cut that still hurts.

The alien chip story is a lot more entertaining.

1. Shameless kick
I'm stuck at work with a sore incision, a big bandage, and work to do. :(

3. I had a cervical fusion a couple of years ago
And I have a faint scar across my throat where they went in - it's about 5 inches long. I tell people I was attacked and survived having my throat slit but that I overpowered my attacker and immobilized him with duct tape before I passed out from loss of blood.

Nice to meet a kindred spirit. :hi:

4. From the front?
I'm glad that they have this down to a science and you're up and running again.

In these cases, the story is much more fun than the truth.

5. Yeah
As I understand it, it makes more sense to go in through the front and shove everything out of the way than to go in through the back and risk getting tangled up in the spinal cord.

I'm glad you're chip was successfully removed. ;)
