If you got a call from Maury Povich, saying "your SO has a secret..." |
|
Why, why, WHY would you consent to go on the show?
It's never, "I've secretly been saving up to take us on a trip to Spain." It's never, "I want to propose to you on a seedy talk show." It's never, "You're stressed and I want Maury to treat you to a day at the spa."
It's always, "I cheated and you may not be my baby's daddy."

2. Why does Maury give children with severe physical problems a cake? |

Paying for treatment might be more appreciated than a baked good.

I agree with the above poster. Most people just want to be on television or they don't have the money for a DNA test so the Maury Show is a way to kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Just bizarre to me. :wtf:

4. Because everyone's looking for their 15 minutes. |

And some are the kind of folks who get some kind of thrill or ego boost by being on a trash talk show.

At the local college, some people earn credit in their drama classes by going on Springer and Maury. NO, I'm NOT kidding.

Sort of the same reason why people agree to settle their disputes on "Judge (fill-in-the-blank)" - everybody comes out ahead...
