It's cheaper than cable, at least from where we live, and freakin' TimeWarner (Comcast when we investigated) didn't even have FoxSportsPrimeTicket, so I could watch Dodgers games!
Plus, it never goes out. :o

5. They won't let us have satellite TV in this apartment building. |
|
Too snooty about the aesthetics of the building's roof, believe it or not (that's what I get for living on the edges of Beverly Hills).
I used to have Dish, and it's by far the best thing I've EVER had on my TV. I miss my Dish.

We had to go through red tape hell at our townhouse, because of the homeowners' association anal twits. Never mind that others have dishes too. One of the bigwigs freaked out because the grounding cable didn't match the stucco. :eyes: Finally, with the association president's approval, all was clear.

6. Shit. Please please please don't let Street have one of his meltdowns. |
|
He's an awesome closer, but when he fucks up, he fucks up spectacularly.

I'm a cable-deprived Dodgers fan living within 100 miles of the Bay Area. :banghead:

11. I know, I know. I think Macha wants it bad this year, though. |
|
He pulled Loaiza out in the sixth faster than I've ever seen him pull a pitcher before (letting pitchers stay in for a complete meltdown is one of my big beefs with Macha).
The A's are going to be tough to beat at home, though, and we only have to win one. Let us now pray....
