Digital camera owners. I need some advice: |
|
I want to take photos so that I can paint and sketch from them. Winter's coming and there'll be less time outside. I want a camera that is simple, cheap and works. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

www.cnet.com I'd buy at least a 4 megapixel camera. They're all pretty good these days. We bought one from my daughter, an HP for $150 and it takes great pictures. Nice, easy to operate point-and-shoot. Costco has a decent selection.

2. I've had good success with the Nikon Cool Picks 5600 |

About $300 when I bought it, maybe less now. Five megapixels.
Downside: On flash mode with the "anti-red-eye" function engaged, it takes about a second and a half between when you press the button and when the shutter snaps. Not very good for taking pictures of toddlers...
