Did anybody watch 'The Nine' last night?
I thought it was kind of a dull premier, but maybe it'll get better. I like the cast, but I didn't think the story was all that enticing.

Anybody else?

1. I saw maybe twenty minutes of it...
...only because it was on right after "Lost". I kept thinking that it reminded me too much of Spike Lee's last movie "Inside Man"--which I didn't like.

2. I watched it...
But I'm not entirely sure what the show is supposed to be about, I'll give it another chance next week simply because I've heard the reviews are good on this show

3. I found it fascinating
To jump to the ending like that was pretty ballsy. And it made you wonder how those 52 hours changed them from this to that. The shots of them back at their "normal lives" (after their ordeal) remind you that only two days have passed, yet it's two days that obviously had a profound impact.

Plus it looks to be a show that actually explores how people feel, rather than how they react. A departure from the usual fare.

Me, I'm gonna keep watching and see if it holds up.

The pilot isn't being shown again, but you can watch it on ABC.com for another week.

4. I liked the fact that they focused

on the character development, not the
violence.

It's a great departure from the usual MO.

5. I definitely liked that the best. I really couldn't get into the

premier story line all that much, but it could have been that I was jazzed from Lost.

I intend to keep watching it. Last night was good TV, I thought. I watched Jericho, Lost and The Nine and loved the first two, liked the last one.
