What is it with Mitch Albom and all his Christian Mysticism

I just don't get it...

His new book, For One More Day enters the NYT Best Seller list at number 1...

I don't know...

really speaks to me.....

I've read both his other books, "Tuesdays with Morrie" and "The Five People You Meet in Heaven".......

And just loved them.....

He writes so movingly, with so much love and understated passion.

I am a little surprised that you, of all people, don't get it........

Since you understand what it means to be loving......

I just re-read the end of "Tuesdays with Morrie." It made me cry just a tiny bit......

I don't know much about Christian mysticism........

But I do know that Mitch Albom speaks from his heart, and I love to hear him do so.....

8. I have liked some of his columns

in the Detroit Free Press, where he is the Sports Columnist.

But his writing often times seems repetetive, shallow, and sort of amaturish. It never impressed me.

And I read "Tuesdays with Morrie" years ago and found it sort of manipulative and dull. Morrie sounded like an interesting guy, but I thought the way the book was written was cheesy...

But he seems like a decent guy overall, and I think he leans left politically. I don't know much about the Christian mysticism though.
