2. I actually complained about that before...

I'm scared Google's algorith can easily be manipulated. Imagine having every popular search term lead to political sites. Google could be come unusable if this stuff gets abused too much.

I've also often worry that popular sites like Google end being used by nefarious individuals who figure out a way to abuse a very useful tool but also one that reaches critical mass.

Like the TV before it and radio before that. (Both of which, of course, have been almost entirely taken over by the manipulators.)
