My current favorite song:
I cry everytime I hear this song.
I really like these lyrics.

By The Fray
How to Save a Life

Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

How to save a life
How to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

How to save a life

1. today it's "The good life" ..Weezer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhKkxSv3Qhs

Weezer - The Good Life Lyrics

When I look in the mirror

I can't believe what I see

Tell me, who's that funky dude

Staring back at me

Broken, beaten down

Can't even get around

Without an old-man cane

I fall and hit the ground

Shivering in the cold

I'm bitter and alone

Excuse the bitching

I shouldn't complain

I should have no feeling

Cos feeling is pain

As everything I need

Is denied me

And everything I want

Is taken away from me

But who do I got to blame?

Nobody but me

And I don't wanna be an old man anymore

It's been a year or two since I was out on the floor

Shaking booty, making sweet love all the night

It's time I got back to the good life

It's time I got back, it's time I got back

And I don't even know how I got off the track

I wanna go back, yeah!

Screw this crap, I've had it!

I ain't no Mr. Cool

I'm a pig, I'm a dog

So excuse me if I drool

I ain't gonna hurt nobody

Ain't gonna cause a scene

Just need to admit

That I want sugar in my tea

Hear me (hear me) I want sugar in my tea!

I don't wanna be an old man anymore

It's been a year or two since I was out on the floor

Shaking booty, making sweet love all the night

It's time I got back to the good life

It's time I got back, it's time I got back

And I don't even know how I got off the track

I wanna go back, yeah!

I wanna go back, I wanna go back

And I don't even know how I got off the track

It's time I got back, it's time I got back

And I don't even know how I got off the track

I wanna go back, yeah!

And I don't wanna be an old man anymore

It's been a year or two since I was out on the floor

Shaking booty, making sweet love all the night

It's time I got back to the good life

It's time I got back, it's time I got back

And I don't even know how I got off the track

It's time I got back, it's time I got back

And I don't even know how I got off the track

I wanna go back (I wanna go back)

2. lately...
its been, Precious by Depeche Mode...

Precious and fragile things
Need special handling
My God what have we done to You?

We always try to share
The tenderest of care
Now look what we have put You through...

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give

Angels with silver wings
Shouldn't know suffering
I wish I could take the pain for you

If God has a master plan
That only He understands
I hope it's your eyes He's seeing through

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give

I pray you learn to trust
Have faith in both of us
And keep room in your hearts for two

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give

11. Phish, Wading in the Velvet Sea
youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZlywPiYxPg

I must explain, though:

This was a video montage a phan created from the last Phish show ever, in 2004 at Coventry.

Normally, the song is much better, but the singer (Page, piano player) started to break down in the middle of the song and had trouble finishing.

The person who made this also spliced in some of the band member's words to the audience after the song.

Might not mean much to some people, but the Phishheads here may appreciate it

14. A friend of mine has been really into The Fray as of late.
Pretty decent.

My favourite at the moment is "In Memory" by Black Lungs. Kind of a folk punk type of sound.

16. My current favorite is also one of theirs
Heaven Forbid

Twenty years, it's breaking you down
now that you understand there's no one around
Take a breath, just take a seat
your falling apart and tearing at the seems

Heaven forbid you end up alone, you don't know why
Hold on tight, wait for tomorrow, you'll be alright

It's on your face, is it on your mind
would you care to build a house of your own
How much longer, how long can you wait
It's like you wanted to go and give yourself away

Heaven forbid you end up alone, you don't know why
Hold on tight, wait for tomorrow, you'll be alright
Heaven forbid you end up alone, you don't know why
Hold on tight, wait for tomorrow, you'll be alright

It feels good (Is that reason enough for you)
It feels good (Is that reason enough for you)
It feels good (Is that reason enough for you)
It feels good (Is that reason enough for you)

Heaven forbid you end up alone, you don't know why
Hold on tight wait for tomorrow, you'll be alright
Heaven forbid you end up alone, you don't know why
Hold on tight wait for tomorrow, you'll be alright

Out of this one
I don't know how to get you out of this one
I don't know how to get you out of this one
I don't know how to get you out of this one
I don't know how to get you out of this one

18. Yup.
Love that one too. The whole album is really good. It rarely happens that I like every song on an album.

19. Here's a favorite of mine....and yes it IS by Oasis ~ Little By Little...
We the people fight for our existence
We don't claim to be perfect but were free
We dream our dreams alone with no resistance
Faded like the stars we wish to be

Y'know I didnt mean... what I just said
But my God woke up on the wrong side of his bed
And it just dont matter now

Little by little we gave you everything you ever dreamed of
As little by little the wheels of your life have slowly fallen off
Little by little you have to live it all in all your life
And all the time I just ask myself why are you really here?

True perfection has to be imperfect
I know that that sounds foolish but it's true
The day has come and now you'll have to accept
The life inside your head we gave to you

Y'know I didnt mean... what I just said
But my God woke up on the wrong side of his bed
And it just don't matter now

Little by little we gave you everything you ever dreamed of
As little by little the wheels of your life have slowly fallen off
Little by little you have to live it all in all your life
And all the time I just ask myself why are you really here?

~ Heathen Chemistry ~
