why do they call bill parcells tuna?
where did it come from? is it a term of endearment or does parcells not particularly like it?

2. It goes back to a gag played by veteran players on rookies.
The would send out rookies to a local store to pick up a free Thanksgiving turkey. When Parells first started coaching at New England he refused to be messed with and said something like "I'm not Charlie Tuna"...meaning I'm not going to be hooked by this. :hi:
