it's sad when anyone's life is cut short, but somehow, it affects me more |

when it's a baseball player. I've played ball and been a fan of the majors since I knew what a ball was.
And in plane crashes: Roberto Clemente, Ken Hubbs, Thurman Munson, Cory Lidle . . . RIP, fellas. :cry:

and tragic. I remember my high school teacher defining tragedy by using an example of someone losing their life when they are at the top of their game. This is a tragedy. Hugs for you...:hug:

I went through the same thing with Jack Buck and Darryl Kile several years back. When it's a familiar face, especially one who a fan has seen go through ups and downs, it always hurts more. Hoping for the best for everyone involved in what happened today.
